The lack of press coverage on the near catastrophe when a comet passed extremely close to Earth could be attributed to several reasons. Firstly, it is possible that the event occurred in a time period where communication and technology were not as advanced, making it difficult for news to spread quickly. Additionally, the scientific understanding of comets and their potential impact on Earth may have been limited at that time, leading to a lack of awareness and urgency in reporting the event. Lastly, governments or authorities may have chosen to suppress information about the near catastrophe to prevent panic or maintain control over the situation. **

Lastly, the event may have been downplayed or kept secret by authorities to prevent panic or fear among the public. **

It is unclear what is meant by "shaking near him." If you are referring to someone shaking near another person, it could be a sign of nervousness, fear, or excitement. It is important to consider the context and body language of the individuals involved to determine the reason for the shaking. **

It depends on the context. If you are asking about distance, "far" and "near" are relative terms and can only be answered in relation to a specific location or point of reference. If you are asking about preference, it would depend on the individual's personal preference or the specific situation. For example, when choosing a vacation destination, some people may prefer a faraway exotic location, while others may prefer a nearby getaway. **
