Car roof boxes are storage containers that are mounted on top of a vehicle's roof to provide additional space for carrying luggage, sports equipment, or other bulky items. They come in various sizes and designs to suit different needs. Roof racks, on the other hand, are the framework or bars that are attached to the roof of a vehicle to support the roof box or other items being carried on the roof. They provide a secure base for attaching accessories like roof boxes, bike racks, or ski racks. Together, car roof boxes and roof racks are popular accessories for increasing a vehicle's storage capacity and versatility. **

On the car roof, there is usually a roof rack or roof rails, which are used for carrying items such as luggage, bicycles, or other equipment. Some cars may also have a sunroof, which is a panel in the roof that can be opened to let in light and air. Additionally, some cars may have a roof antenna for radio reception. **

The car roof collapses in the event of a rollover or a significant impact, such as a collision. This is due to the force and pressure exerted on the roof, which can cause it to buckle and collapse. Modern cars are designed with safety features to help prevent roof collapse, such as reinforced pillars and roof structures, as well as side curtain airbags to provide additional protection in the event of a crash. However, in severe accidents, the roof may still collapse, posing a serious risk to the occupants inside the vehicle. **
